Why NBWRA Was Formed
Public agencies have been seeking a solution to water challenges facing the region and the need for solution. Recycled water appears to meet the needs for:

  • A water supply that can reliably supplement ever more scarce water supplies.
  • A way to reuse water rather than send this quality resource unused into the bay.
  • Restoration of wetlands.
  • All at a reasonable cost.
