SAFETY OF RECYCLED WATER

When considering the safety of any water source, one key issue is its use. The recycled water for NBWRA is designed to be used for irrigation of landscapes, agriculture and for environmental restoration.
Recycled water is appropriate as a sustainable substitute for potable water now used to irrigate for urban and agricultural land. It can be safely and economically used for agricultural uses, parks, golf courses, public space landscaping, wetland habitat restoration and other environmental water needs.
Recycled Water - Safe, Tested and Reliable
- Recycled water is safe and is already being used in Sonoma, Marin, and Napa Counties.
